Cody joined our Mount Vernon family in 2023, having several years of experience in youth ministry on a bi-vocational level. He has given up his secular job in the medical field to pursue ministry in a full-time capacity. He believes in helping students gain a knowledge and love for Christ and identify who they are in Christ then making the next steps in discipleship. He is currently pursuing a BA in Christian Ministries.
He is married to his lovely wife Kristie, and they have a baby boy named Walter with a little girl on the way. Kristie teaches 7-8th grade math at Boaz Middle School. They are active in the community and you will probably run across them at the many sporting events, band competitions, or community events.
