MV Kids is the children’s ministry of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, serving infants through 5th grade. Our mission is simple: to partner with families in raising up the next generation to know, love, and follow Jesus.
From 6 weeks old through elementary school, we create a safe, engaging, and gospel-centered environment where kids are introduced to the truth of God’s Word at every stage of development. We don’t just aim to entertain—we aim to disciple.
Through age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, hands-on activities, and intentional relationships, we help kids understand who Jesus is, what He has done for them, and what it means to follow Him in their everyday lives. We want every child to grow in their understanding of the gospel and begin building a faith that lasts.
At MV Kids, we believe discipleship starts early. That’s why everything we do is focused on helping children take their first steps in a lifelong walk with Christ—while equipping parents to lead the way at home.
