To trust means “to lean our whole weight upon”. We are invited to place our whole weight upon God. We can put the whole weight of our worries upon God because He is bigger than the problems that we face.”
How much should we trust? Is it to be partial? No. We should trust God with ALL our heart. What would it look like for you to trust God wholeheartedly with your finances? What would it look like for you to trust God wholeheartedly with your marriage? What would it look like for you to trust God wholeheartedly with your faith?
What are we told to abandon? Our own understanding.
We don't have to know how or when God is going to work in our situation, we just have to know HE IS going to work out our situation.
Do you really trust God?
Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
