SOCIAL MEDIA'S MENACE! (day 11)

In chapter 11 of Proverbs, Solomon alludes to the destructive nature of words; "with his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor", "whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense", "whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets". Solomon certainly was progressive in his writings, because  facebook, twitter, instagram, and pinterest, had not yet been introduced.

While some use these avenues of social media for good, many use them to attack, belittle, and destroy others. Those who would walk in wisdom do not hide behind the keyboard of an electronic device. If rebuke is necessary, the wise patiently demonstrate this face to face and in love. Don't get caught in the daily rash of social media's menacing militia. Follow wisdom's path and be productive and proactive in using words of wisdom to friends, followers, and foes.

Proverbs 11:27 (NKJV) He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, but trouble will come to him who seeks evil.
